Junior point guard Sierra Greer picked up where she left off last week by continuing to score at a rapid clip while the West Michigan Aviation girls basketball team picked up a 55-21 nonconference victory over Wyoming Lee.
On the heels of scoring 20, Greer finished Monday night’s road win with a program-best 23 points. She finished with eight field goals, including a 3-pointer and was also 4-for-7 from the free throw line. She swiped the ball from the Lee Legends 10 times to go with three assists.
Everyone saw action for the Aviators, who jumped out to an 18-2 lead after the first quarter and led 37-11 at the break.
Freshman guard Audrey Mileski also had a strong game on offense, finishing with eight points with four steals, two rebounds and an assist. Grace McConnon commanded the post to finish with eight rebounds to go with her six points while Bre Holmlund added four points.
Kendal Springborn connected on a 3-pointer to finish with three points while Addison Turk and Katie Woodruff each added two points apiece. Hailee Nicol was 1-for-2 from the free throw line for a point.
The Aviators move to 6-9 on the season and will travel to Grand River Prep on Friday night.
