The West Michigan Aviation boys basketball team was well represented after Alliance League coaches voted this weekend to compile the honorary all-league teams.
Junior Joey Riebel was the only WMAA to receive all-league first team honors. The coaches placed him amongst the eight-team league’s top seven players.
Brady Titus – TU, Tyler Maat – CSH, Donovan Clark – PH, Austin Treece – TU, Z’Marian Perkins – GRP, Joey Riebel – WMAA, and Bradley Richards – FCC.
In conference play, Riebel averaged 8.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 2.1 steals a game. He ran the tough Point guard position all season long leading the Aviators to a 12-6 Season.
Seniors Davin Hoffman and Gabe Laughlin were named to the All-Alliance League second team, joining an additional six players from around the conference.
Davin guarded the best players in the league all season long keeping opponents to some of their worst games when Davin guarded the. Davin had an outstanding 2.3 Blocks per a game. Gabe led the Aviators in scoring during league play scoring 10.4 ppg.
